You were never missing beauty
Hello lovely, I wanted to share a little inspiration from the first chapter of my book, The Power of Finding Beauty. A moment to pause, step away from comparison and remember something we can so easily forget about ourselves.
BEAUTY BEGINS WITHIN

For much of my life, I have watched people search for beauty as though it were something outside themselves. A destination. A product. A procedure. A number on a scale. A younger face. A different body. Yet the more people I met, the more convinced I became that beauty was never missing. It had simply become buried beneath years of judgement, comparison, fear and conditioning. We are born seeing beauty naturally. Children do not study a face for evidence of ageing. Animals do not care whether our bodies meet a fashionable standard. Nature never compares one flower with another and decides that only one deserves the sunlight. Human beings learn to measure themselves against impossible ideals, and we learn that lesson so gradually that we often fail to notice it happening.
